Le bois pour les fours est le Pin rouge japonais (Akamatsu), pour sa couleur et sa facilit\u00e9 d\u2019utilisation qui donne aux pi\u00e8ces une gla\u00e7ure \u00e0 la cendre unique. Les cuissons au bois sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9es 2 fois par an environ, pendant 2 semaines jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1250\u00b0C. \u201cLa stabilit\u00e9 est importante, mais lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit de la coloration cr\u00e9\u00e9e par le hasard, je suis heureux d\u2019examiner pourquoi elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 cuite et d\u2019en faire quelque chose d\u2019in\u00e9vitable. Apr\u00e8s avoir fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 sur le tour de potier, nous transformons la forme et ajoutons des lignes de cr\u00eate pour cr\u00e9er une fusion de formes pointues uniques et avec les techniques de cuisson de Bizen. Je suis inspir\u00e9 par beaucoup de choses diff\u00e9rentes.
